College Science Prerequisites, Course Descriptions and TextbooksInformation and Requirements for Accelerated College Science CoursesIntegrated Science Program offers a variety of college science classes designed specifically for individuals pursuing health professions. We offer accelerated classes in chemistry, biology, anatomy and physiology, microbiology, physics and others. You can learn more about our science prerequisites, course descriptions and textbooks below:PREREQUISITE REQUIREMENTS FOR ISP CLASSES Some classes have prerequisites that must be met before you can attend the class. If you take the prerequisite at ISP, you do not need to forward more information. If you take the prerequisite at another college, unofficial transcripts need to be faxed to (562)902-3362, or emailed to anitamarshall@scuhs.edu for evaluation and approval. The prerequisite class must be equal to the ISP class in the following ways: The class must be four units Contain a lab component Cannot be older than 10 years The grade obtained in the class must have been a "C" or better ** Please refer to the Course Description Page for each class below to find the prerequisite requirement for that class.
