"When you've got four years of science to get done, why would you want to spend four years taking science courses when you can learn the exact same amount of information in less than half the time?" Please watch what Crispin Woods has to say about the pre-chiropractic student program: To learn more about the Integrated Science Program please Crispin Woods, Pre-Chiropractic Student, Video Transcript:I started off in personal training just because I really liked working out at the time so I thought, “Well, doing what you love is supposed to be the way to go about it.” And I started it off with that. I moved into massage and while I was doing massage and in school for Kinesiology, I realized that chiropractic was really what I had wanted to do. It was something that was a consideration, but it wasn't something I was necessarily passionate about. And so I kind of reached that point where I just thought, “I think chiropractic is exactly what I've been looking for and what I want to do.” But I was really lacking in my sciences and needed to make up the sciences as quickly as possible and it's just not really feasible to make up four years of science and a year and a half time through community college or a state school. So ISP was really the first place I went just because I could get a lot of units done in a very short amount of time and that would allow me to get into chiropractic college much more quickly. I had great teachers. We had great labs. I learned a lot of information. It's a lot of information very fast but they do a great job of covering everything that you need to know. And it's been one of those things where I've had a great experience with it. When you've got four years of science to get done, why would you want to spend four years taking science courses when you can learn the exact same amount of information in less than half the time? The teachers are very passionate about what they do. They're extremely knowledgeable and that makes them very approachable. When I had questions or things that I needed to go over, they were always available. I know that they teach at other schools and do other things as well and the fact that they were available whenever I needed them was really nice and convenient. They made learning very easy and presented the material in a way that I could grasp, especially, since it's so fast and you have to learn it so quickly, that the way that they teach really allowed me to pick up the material in such a short amount of time. We had people going into dentistry, MDs, chiropractic, nursing, continuing education, whatever it may be. A lot of people were all over the place, but it was nice that we can all kind of come together, learn the same material and it didn't matter where you were going but it just made it really easy to learn what was ahead of us. I look forward to helping as many people as I can which is exactly why I got into it. I'm taking lots of extracurricular to round out my chiropractic profession so I'm hoping to offer as much as I can to as many people as possible. My big payout is just having people that enjoy coming in and being taken care of and treated.
