SCU - Integrated Science Program Welcomes our Veteran Students!

SCU - Integrated Science Program thanks you for your service to our country. SCU - Integrated Science Program is committed to repaying our veterans for all their sacrifices by ensuring all veterans receive every possible opportunity to gain a valuable education.

SCU - Integrated Science Program supports student veterans through participation in key programs sponsored by the Department of Veterans Affairs such as the GI Bill, Post 911/ GI Bill and the Yellow Ribbon Program.

We are happy to inform you that you can use Post-9/11 GI Bill to pay for College Preparatory Courses and Non Degree Programs.

The Good News!

The Post-9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33) Payment Rates have increased for the 2012 Academic Year.

Students enrolled from (August 1, 2012 - July 31, 2013)
May receive up to $18,077.50 per academic year which is the national maximum

Students that are enrolled from (August 1, 2013 - July 31, 2014)
Post-9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33) may receive up to $19,198.31 per academic year, which is the national maximum.

Under the Post-9/11 GI Bill you may receive:

  • Tuition fee payment sent directly to the school
  • Monthly housing allowance sent to you
  • Books and supplies stipend sent to you
  • One-time rural benefit for certain veterans.

First step!

If you want to know more about how to use your Veterans Educational Benefits for your ISP classes, the very first step is to contact ISP admissions office to see what preparatory classes you need to take at ISP.

We encourage you to call toll-free 1-877-477-7242 Ext 1. and speak with a counselor ASAP.

This Academic counselor will be able to help you choose the ISP preparatory classes you may need and also will help you submitting your ISP application for taking those classes.

After submitting your Integrated Science Program application in order to receive your benefits you must submit to the following documents:

  1. Copy of DD214
  2. Copy of VA Certificate of Eligibility Letter
  3. The ISP schedule of classes you have applied for (Classes and dates)
  4. SCU VA Certification Request (Click here to download and print the template)

You will be notified by the Financial Aid office if your application has been approved.
SCU' Financial Aid Department processes student VA benefits. However, the Veterans Administration makes the authoritative decision regarding benefits.
