What are the science class sizes?
Our science classes are small. The average class size is from 8-40. The Integrated Science Program requires a minimum enrollment of 8 students in each course or portion of a course.
Is your institution accredited?
Since its inception, the Integrated Science Program (ISP) has been offered by Lifelong Education Institute (LEI) in collaboration with Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCU), which is accredited by the Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC). As of March 4, 2016, ISP courses will be independent of SCU, although the Mission, Vision and Philosophy of LEI will remain the same. Accreditation may be impacted temporarily as we adapt our courses to a changing educational environment.
Can I take just one or two science classes?
You can take as many science classes as you wish. As you complete your application you can build up your own schedule according to your needs. Please keep in mind that ISP limits its students to enroll in just one ISP accelerated science class per month due to the intensive nature of our month-long format.
Are these science courses transferable?
Up until recently, ISP has been offering classes through Southern California University of Health Sciences, which is accredited by WASC. In the past, our accelerated science courses have been successfully transferred to many colleges and universities throughout the world. After March 4, 2016, our program will be altered to keep pace with a changing educational environment. As we have done in the past, we urge all students to contact the school to which they are planning to transfer their credits to ensure their ISP courses will be accepted. It is imperative that course transferability be confirmed prior to registration.
How do I drop a science class?
To drop a class please read ISP Guidelines on Class Withdrawal.
Are tutors available?
The Integrated Science Program does not provide tutors outside the course instructors and laboratory instructors. Our course instructors do make themselves available online and via email for consultation during the weekdays between class sessions.
Are there private student loans or payment plans available?
Private student loans and payment plans are available.
How do I make a payment?
You may pay by personal check, cash, money order, cashier’s check or credit card. Regarding payments please contact:
